Analyzed by Charles Odier, then by Laforgue, Choisy started in 1946 the journal Psyché: revue internationale de psychanalyse et des sciences de l'homme, which "was intent on being open to all problems of the contemporary world. It was part of a revisionist effort regarding Freud's teachings, of an occultist, meditative, or Orientalist tendency, through which a rather diffuse fidelity to the ieals of the Roman Catholic Church was affirmed" [Roudinesco p.192].
